"Why no one is talking about it? at bakit sekreto lang ng mga babae?"
For generations, menopause has been treated like a shameful secret... something to whisper about behind closed doors, if talked about it all. Here in the Philppines, the stigma runs deep. Mothers hide their hot flashes, daughters don't understand their nanay's (mother) mood swings, and husbands brush off symptoms as "drama lang."
But let's set the record straight: Menopause is not a weakness--it's a natural, powerful transition that every woman on this planet will experience. And yet, why does it feel like we're navigating this alone?
The Hard Facts (Backed by Science)
Menopause isn't just "tigil ang regla" it's far more than losing your period. It's a full body shift with real measurable effects! Research shows it affects:
- Brain Changes - That "menopausal fog" is REAL. Estrogen drop impacts memory focus¹
- Bone Health - Women can lose up to 20% of bone density in the first 5 years after menopause²
- Heart Risks -Post menopausal women face higher chances of heart disease³
- Mental Health - Anxiety, depression, and insomia spike during this transition
So why are we not treating this like the health priority it is?

This Isn't Just a "Woman Problem"

This series will:
- Give you FACTS (not old wives' tales)
- Break the stigma (no more "hiya"!)
- Guide families how to REALLY support (kasi love is action, not just words)
To every woman reading this: You are NOT crazy. You are NOT broken. Your body is doing something incredible.
